Clementina Cantoni is an Italian citizen who was abducted in gunpoint in Afghanistan while working for Care International on May 16, 2005 and was released unharmed by her kidnappers on June 9, 2005, who was sentenced for 20 years jail term for the kidnapping and sentenced to death for murdering an Afghan businessman.
